Ice road trucking (winter roads)

In 2014, we set out on a three-month trip. It was quite an adventure! Travelling the ice roads in Yellowknife is an extraordinary experience. Our adventure took us across Canada. Two of our trucks left Lac Saint-Jean for the Northwest Territories and further north: from Yellowknife to the diamond mines.

Having participated in the ice roads project is an exceptional feeling. Our travel on icy roads, formed from frozen lakes, allowed us to discover the beauty of the landscape and the northern lights while driving at speeds of 25 to 30 km/h to meet the stringent safety requirements for these special conditions. Ice is inspected daily for the safety of all users. For the 2015 season, we repeated the adventure with six trucks. And in 2016, we headed there with more than 12 trucks.

In 2017 and 2018, more than 16 of our trucks made the trip up north and we plan to do the same in the years to come.
